The BlackVue DR590X-2CH-IR is a dual lens dash cam, and both front and interior facing cameras record in Full HD 1080p resolution. The BlackVue DR590X-2CH-IR is identical to the BlackVue DR590X-2CH, except that this model is designed for front and inside recording, rather than the front and rear recording of the DR590X-2CH.
The new BlackVue DR590X-2CH-IR includes an infrared interior camera that provides clear recording, even in total darkness. The IR camera keeps the interior of your vehicle secure by automatically activating inconspicuously based on the level of ambient light inside the vehicle. The camera’s amazing clarity even in pitch black lighting conditions will help ensure peace of mind to taxi and TNC/rideshare drivers.
Connecting to the built-in WiFi on the BlackVue DR590X-2CH-IR with the BlackVue App makes it easy to adjust settings, check the view from the front and rear cameras, and transfer files to your mobile device. Customize the way the DR590X-2CH-IR operates; including 180° Image Rotation to accommodate setup. Should the image come out upside down, activate this feature and it will fix the image orientation. The app will also control the LED settings, creating complete stealth while in Parking Mode. The (optional) GPS antenna adds speed and location information to all of the videos.
In order to use Parking Mode, we recommend theBlackVue Hardwire Kitaccessory to easily hardwire the dash cam to the car's fuse-box. The BlackVue Hardwire Kit ensures constant power for parking mode, while also ensuring the battery level remains high enough to start the vehicle.
