The T-shaped piece that snaps into the top of my particular dash cam was too large. I tried to file it down to size but the plastic ended up getting to thin and flimsy. I was able to modify and use my old "stud" and **** it into one of the posts on the window attachment base (not in between them). Works fine now. Glad I was able to figure it out. Overall the product is well made. Just the wrong size for me. No way to measure for a "universal fit".

First, had to shave to shape top part to fit my dash cam. And second the adhesive was not as strong to hold dash cam, had to get a stronger adhesive Velcro tape which worked perfectly. Will not fall off.
