Hardwire Cable for Parking Mode
Parking mode allows your dash cam to monitor your vehicle even while the engine is off.
Power is delivered through the hardwire cable, which also protects the vehicle’s battery from excessive
discharge.
Detachable Design for Easy Upgrade & Maintenance
The HK6 features a modular design with detachable input and output cables. This plug-in
connection allows for easier cable routing during installation and makes future upgrades or replacements
hassle-free—no need to rewire or remove existing cables.
Automatic Voltage Display
With built-in Bluetooth, the HK6 lets you check your car’s battery voltage right on the dash
cam, no setup or pairing needed. Your dashcam automatically searches for the HK6's signal, reads the voltage,
and displays it on the recorded video for real-time monitoring.
Seamless Parking Mode Switching
With ACC detection, the dash cam seamlessly enters parking mode when the vehicle's engine is
turned off and resumes normal recording once the vehicle is started.
Hybrid Parking Mode for A329S Series
The HK6 Hardwire Cable supports Hybrid Parking Mode for the A329S Series, automatically
switching between normal parking recording and Low-Power Impact Detection mode based on "Cut-off Voltage" and
"Cut-off Time" setting.
*We recommend setting the "Cut-off Voltage" slightly higher than the value selected on the hardwire
cable.
Battery Discharge Prevention
The HK6 powers your dash cam while parked and turns off when your battery voltage gets too low, based on
your chosen setting.
Configurable Voltage Cut-off
The VIOFO HK6 Hardwire Cable includes 4 voltage cut-off options. When your car battery drops to the selected
level, it cuts power to the dash cam to help prevent battery drain.
Ultra-Low Power Consumption
The HK6 draws very little power—less than 300μA—when the dash cam is off, so you get longer parking mode
coverage without stressing your battery. With the A329S Series, Low Power Impact Detection keeps watch with
barely any draw:
• Standby/Sleep Mode: Only 0.24W (20mA at 12V)
This hardwire kit comes with everything you need for a clean, easy install, just plug into your fuse box; no cutting or splicing.
12V / 24V Compatible
The HK6 Hardwire Cable connects the camera directly to cars, trucks, buses, SUVs, or big
rigs for continuous power. It accepts voltage from any vehicle running on 12–24V.
