It's easy to be fooled by the simplicity of the DR590X-2CH, but small improvements to the BlackVue DR590X-2CH make for great upgrades! The addition of WiFi capability on the DR590X-2CH means that you can access the camera's live view, transfer videos to your phone and easily adjust the dash cam's settings with the BlackVue app. The optional GPS antenna will add speed and location information to all of your videos. Adding the Blackvue Direct Hardwire Kit to hardwire your BlackVue DR590X-2CH enables Parking Mode (including Motion and Impact Detection) to hardwire your dash cam and provide round the clock coverage. 

In order to use "Parking Mode", we recommend the Direct Hardwire Harness accessory to hardwire the dash cam to your car's fuse box. This will give the dash cam constant power for parking mode, while also ensuring the battery level does not drop below the set voltage.
