Infrared dash cams are popular and useful among Uber drivers, Lyft drivers, Taxi Drivers, TNC Drivers, or any business that wishes to record the inside the vehicle, the driver and the occupants of the vehicle. Infrared dash cams are also useful for recording the outside of the vehicle, only with an externally mounted camera. Please note that using an internally mounted camera to record the outside of the vehicle will result in glare from the infrared bulb reflecting on the windshield. All internally mounted infrared cameras should not be pointed directly at a windshield (i.e. facing outside the vehicle).
