Free up your power outlets for your other devices such as phones or tablets by powering your VIOFO directly to your vehicle. The VIOFO Hardwire kit is compatible with most cars and trucks (accepts input voltages of 12-24V).
The hardwire kit enables parking mode safely: the kit will power off automatically when your vehicle battery voltage drops too low, preventing your battery from dying. The low voltage threshold is adjustable in increments of 4 from 11.9 to 12.4 DC (12v systems) or 23.6 to 24.8v DC (24v systems).
This hardwire kit can be used by almost all USB-C devices like dash cams, GPS navigation devices, radar detectors etc.

VIOFO A139 Hard Wired Self Install
Definitely recommend!!! Take a little time to research and source fuse taps for your car, I have an '86 Volvo, and didn't foresee neatly tapping my son's 2011 Mitsubishi. I wanted it neat and clean, and should've looked into it prior, however I was able to obtain the taps at an Auto-Zone, although I would've found elsewhere if I had done homework.

First time customer, good experience
I ordered a viofo 139 cam from Amazon and what I thought was the proper harness. Pulled the dash apart, harness showed up and was the wrong item (129). I couldn’t find one anywhere online, so I called the dash cam store. They had the part and the service rep was really helpful. The correct harness was in my possession in three days and wired up in an hour. Thanks!
