How is this harness different than the Power Magic Pro? The DR750LW from BlackVue has built-in low-voltage detection, so you can use this kit instead of the Power Magic Pro. However, the Power Magic Pro still offers the override switch (if you don't need the camera running in parking mode - in your garage at home for instance) as well as adjustable time values for delayed shutdown, which you will not get with this direct-wire harness.

I installed this with the DR750-LW. One weekend, my car stayed in the driveway for close to 18 hours. My battery was dead flat. I had the DR750-LW setup to turn off after battery reach 12V and/or 12 hours. This was a single occurrence. Now, I am thinking about getting the Power Magic Pro. Nothing wrong with the kit itself, I think the battery save feature of the DR750-LW does not work.

I installed this with my DR750-LW and my battery keeps dying on me. I will try the Power Magic Next.
